How PST is organized and structured

The Pharmaceutical Society of Tanzania operates through a well-defined organizational structure designed to ensure effective governance, representation, and service delivery to all members across the country.

Organizational Hierarchy

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Supreme governing body of PST. All major decisions and elections take place at the AGM.

Board of Trustees

Provides oversight, safeguards PST assets, and ensures constitutional compliance.

National Executive Committee (NEC)

Manages day-to-day affairs, implements AGM resolutions, and coordinates all PST activities.

Standing Committees

Specialized committees handling membership, finance, ethics, ERP, ITS, and awards.

7 Zones

Regional representation through Northern, Eastern, Central, Western, Lake, Southern Highlands, Southern, and Zanzibar zones.
